How a HubSpot Partner Lit Up Their Trade Show Booth
HomeBuilder Ops wanted to stand out at their summit in California
HomeBuilder Ops had a booth to fill for a summit in California. As the top HubSpot partner in the home building space, they wanted something that would pull people in from across a crowded hall, not one more pull-up banner lost in the crowd. Time was tight. The event was a couple of weeks out, and they still hadn't settled on what to buy.
So they sent a photo of the booth and asked us what would work best.
Why an illuminated display beat a printed banner
Trade show floors are loud and bright and packed. A glowing display does something a printed banner never will: it catches the eye from across the room and holds on to it. And because the displays ran on rechargeable built-in battery which lasted for over 8 hours, there were no cords to tape down, and no outlets to scramble for.
Flexibility sealed it. The remote switched between 16 static colors on the fly, so the display can sit on brand one minute and shift to match the room the next.
From a booth photo to mock-ups in a day
A Facebook ad is what brought HomeBuilder Ops to PK Green. They sent over their logos and a photo of the booth, and within a day we sent them mock-up designs by email, showing how the two logos would look across different shapes and lit in a range of colors.
That settled it. They chose a light-up bench and a pair of matching columns, with the HubSpot logo and their own logo alternating around all four sides of each piece for full 360-degree branding. With the summit date fast approaching, our express production service got the order made and shipped in time.

The light boxes drew people in
The bench pulled its weight twice over. It gave people a reason to stop and sit, which is gold on a tired show floor.
The two columns framed the space and, at a 32-inch height with an even glow all the way around, they were easy to pick out from a few aisles over.
Setup was fast - it just came down to switching everything on and choosing a color, since each piece ran on a rechargeable built-in battery.
