Nova Construction turns heads with custom shipping container light boxes
Nova Construction wanted displays which looked like their orange containers
Nova Construction, a project management and building firm, needed standout display pieces for their events.
They had a clear picture in mind: lighting that looked like their bright orange shipping containers. The hard part was finding something that was both portable and on-brand. They wanted a piece that could hold its own at a busy event without a mess of wires getting in the way.
Our light boxes were the perfect fit
A printed banner or sign wouldn't do the job. The team wanted something that actually glowed, tied straight back to what they do, and which could be set up anywhere.
Our custom light boxes ticked every box. With no wires or plugs to deal with, the displays could sit anywhere in a venue - no hunting for a wall outlet at a packed event.

They received mock-ups within hours, and the finished product ahead of their deadline
Their project manager first reached out to PK Green to ask about orange, container-style lighting. Within a few hours, we sent them mock-up designs to look over.
From there, it was a quick back-and-forth on shapes and sizes, and fresh mock-ups were sent each time so that nothing was left to guesswork. The order was needed in a hurry, and the finished pieces arrived comfortably ahead of the team's deadline.
Because the displays can be printed with any custom design, the team tried out a few different looks before landing on what worked: plain orange, a concrete finish, and the shipping container design. Seeing each version rendered ahead of time made the decision an easy one.
A glowing bench which doubled as seating
The finished pieces did exactly what the team wanted, and the bench was the real showstopper. From a few feet away, it actually looks like a scaled-down orange shipping container, right down to the printed panels and the cargo door across one end. The other end carries the company logo, so it worked as a proper branded display while still being able to be used seating.
Plenty of firms turn up to events with a folding table and a printed banner. A glowing, true-to-life shipping container display is a different beast altogether. It nods to what the company does without spelling it out, and gave people a reason to stop and look twice.
