The team at Pickering was creating a modern corporate space and wanted something more engaging than standard furniture. They were looking for fun, distinctive pieces that would energize their environment while keeping their professional brand front and center. However, traditional seating options were not going to cut it. They needed something that would actually make people stop and take notice.
Wireless light boxes which doubled as seating
Our illuminated cube stools gave Pickering exactly what they were after. They needed functional seating that was also eye-catching. The custom Pop Art graphics brought personality and energy to the space, while their branding kept everything looking professional. Since our light boxes have a rechargeable built-in battery, they don't need to worry about power outlets or tangled cords cluttering up their space.
From mock-up designs to production
The Pickering team sent us their Pop Art theme concept and logo early on in the process. Our team then created several mockup designs showing different Pop Art graphics. These included playful options with retro comic book styling and bold geometric patterns. They could see exactly how each light box would look before committing.
After they reviewed the mock-ups, Pickering chose three distinct Pop Art designs. Each box featured vibrant graphics on 4 sides with the company logo on the left panel. The approval process moved through their internal reviews. Once everything was signed off, we moved quickly with production.
The cubes became conversation pieces
The illuminated cubes became conversation pieces. Instead of generic office furniture, visitors now see bold, distinctive design elements that reflect the company's innovative spirit. The Pop Art theme adds energy and personality to the space, while the printed logo reinforces their company and brand.
