Universal Property & Casualty Lights Up Their Events With Branded LED Spheres
Branding which could travel between event venues
The marketing team at Universal Property & Casualty wanted a better way to put their brand front and center at events, without the usual banners and pop-up stands.
They needed something eye-catching that was simple to set up, easy to move between venues, and tough enough to survive being packed and transported again and again.
On top of that, they wanted full control over the look, so the lighting could match the feel of whatever space they were in. And they were working to a tight deadline.
This video shows the finished project and also a few other recent projects we've produced.
Why our illuminated spheres fit the brief
Our illuminated sphere displays were a natural fit, because they showed off a logo and lit up the room at the same time. Each one ran on a rechargeable built-in battery that lasted at least 8 hours, so there were no cords to hide and no outlets to fight over.
A plug-in charger came in the box, which meant a full day of running time was only an overnight charge away. And setup at a busy venue only took a minute or two.
Durability sealed the team's decision. Each sphere was molded from a single piece of PE plastic, which made it shatterproof and safe to pack and move between events. And the lifetime guarantee meant the team wouldn't be replacing cracked acrylic after every show.

From finding us on Facebook to mock-ups and shipping
The team first came across PK Green on Facebook and then reached out for a quote. Before committing, we sent them mock-up designs which showed exactly how their logo would look printed on two sides of the spheres, in a range of colors.
That made it easy to picture the finished pieces before anything went into production.

From there, the process moved quickly. They settled on two sizes, signed off on the artwork, and production began right away. Standard production and delivery across the US was included, and the whole order went from first inquiry to shipped in under two weeks, comfortably ahead of their deadline.
Because they had already approved the mock-ups, there were no surprises when the spheres arrived.
Two sizes built a layered, color-changing display
With two sizes in the mix, the team was able to build a layered display: the 16-inch spheres on the floor, and the smaller 8-inch ones on tables. That arrangement gave their booths a real sense of depth, and the flat base on each sphere kept everything sitting steady through the day.
With 16 static colors and 4 lighting modes on the remote, the look could change on the fly. The team was able to keep a calm white glow for a daytime meeting, and then switch to bold brand colors for an evening reception, all without swapping out a single piece.
The spheres also photographed well, which mattered when attendees were posting from events. A bright, clean display gave the brand a little extra reach on social media, with no extra work.
